The Cartridge Mill was developed in 1962 and represents Sendzimir's 39th patent.

The cartridge type rolling mill is a mill in which all the backing bearings and rolls are in self-contained, removable units or "cartridges".

More than 400 Sendzimir installations have been built in over 40 countries since the 1940's
