Directions

Headquarters for T. Sendzimir, Inc., are located in Waterbury, Connecticut, just north of the junctions of I-84 (about halfway between Danbury and Hartford) and Route 8 (between Bridgeport and Hartford). 

New York City Airports - JFK or LaGuardia

By Bus -

  1. Look for Connecticut Limo Service in the arrivals area outside baggage claim.   Purchase bus ticket to Waterbury, Connecticut.
  2. Relax for about 2 hour bus ride.
  3. Bus lands in Waterbury across the street from the Marriott Courtyard Hotel (Phone - 203-596-1000) on 63 Grand Street
  4. During normal business hours, please call us and we'll fetch you.
  5. If after business hours, please take a room at the hotel and we will come and get you in the morning unless prior arrangements have been made.

By Rental Car

  1. Exit JFK Airport on the Van Wyck Expressway towards the Whitestone Bridge.
  2. Go over Bridge ($4.00 toll to pay) and follow signs to the Hutchinson River Parkway.
  3. Go North on the Hutchinson River Parkway until it merges into Interstate 684 North.
  4. Follow I-684 North for about 30 minutes until you see a right hand exit for Interstate 84 (Exit 9-E).
  5. Follow I-84 East (actually Northeast) until you see signs for Waterbury.
  6. Take Left hand exit for Route 8 north.
  7. Follow local directions map given below.

From Bradley Field International Airport - Windsor Locks, CT

There is a recent service from the airport to Waterbury, CT offered by Connecticut Limousine Service (Call 800-472-5466).  The bus stops in Waterbury across the street from the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in downtown Waterbury.  Fare is $21.00 one way.   Hours of operation are 8:30 am to 11:30 p.m. on an hourly basis.  No reservations are required and the phone service in baggage claim can be used to contact the Limo Service so that they know to pick you up.

Depending upon your requirements, the best bet may be to rent a car.  At this point, there are to avenues to follow: 1) the route through downtown Hartford (easier directions but very slow traffic during rush hours), or 2) the back woods method which is scenic but follows a rather circuitous road path.  Both set of directions are given below:

To Our Offices via the Back Woods, Scenic Route Method from Bradley Field -

  1. Exit Airport and take the first right-hand exit for Granby and Route 20 west.
  2. Follow Route 20 through several stoplights and eventually into Granby
  3. Go straight through the main stop light (intersection of Route 20, Route 189, Route 202), past a graveyard on your right and bear left at the next stop light (which continues to be route 20).
  4. Follow Route 20 until you see signs for Route 219 South.  This is a left hand turn after a small bridge.
  5. Follow 219 South to Route 318 South
  6. Follow Route 318 South over water reservoir, down a large hill and up again.   At the stop sign, turn left and follow this road down a hill and over a metal bridge.  Continue straight through the stop sign at the end of the bridge.   Follow this road (Route 318) now for about another mile until it dead ends into Route 44.
  7. Turn right onto Route 44 west and follow it for several miles into the outskirts of Winsted, CT.
  8. Find the entrance to Route 8 South turn onto this highway and stay on it for about 20 minutes until you reach exit 36
  9. Exit onto exit 36 and follow the local direction map below.

To Our Offices via the downtown Hartford Route from Bradley Field -

  1. Follow exit signs to leave the airport.
  2. Continue on this airport road (route 20 East) ignoring all exit signs.
  3. This airport road ends at the Interstate 91 connector.
  4. Take I-91 South into Hartford.
  5. In Hartford, take the right hand exit to I-84 West.
  6. Follow I-84 West for about 30 to 40 minutes into Waterbury, CT.
  7. At the very large inter-change over a river, take Route 8 North (Right hand exit).
  8. Now follow local map directions given below to Exit 36.
